One Day an Elephant Stepped on an Ant House (Interviews with Afghan kids)

One Day an Elephant Stepped on an Ant House

The U.S. and NATO forces have been in Afghanistan for 12 years now. Collected here are interviews with Afghan children (mostly under 12 years old) whose lives have spanned those years.

Special thanks to PARSA, the Shamsa Village Orphanage, and all of the interviewers throughout Afghanistan who helped on this project, including Yasin Farid, Abdul Basir Sarwari, Abdul Hakim, Ahmad Siar Ghafoori, Sayed Ajmal Sadat and Safiullah Sultani.
